Not a moment goes by...

...that I'm not thinking of you.

"When in the end, the day came on which I was going away, I learned the strange learning that things can happen which we ourselves cannot possibly imagine, either beforehand, or at the time when they are taking place, or afterwards when we look back on them." -- Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen), Out of Africa, 1937.

Sometimes lyrics are so true, it's scary...

The Spy Who Loved Me, Carly Simon

I wasn't lookin', but somehow you found me
I tried to hide from your love light
But like heaven above me
The spy who loved me
Is keeping all my secrets safe tonight

And nobody does it better
Though sometimes I wish someone could
Nobody does it quite the way you do
Why'd you have to be so good?

And again, the lyrics in "All Time High" hit too close to home....

All Time High, Rita Coolidge

Yorkshire is a frame of mind, not a geographical location.

Just across the Pateley bridge were two Indian restaurants. One was on the second floor, and one could eat in, although it was just once, maybe twice; the other, on the opposite side of High Street, was take out. The restaurants were just a couple of buildings away from Nidd Walk.

Nidd Walk was the darkest path he ever walked on; human eyes could not see a thing on nights when the moon was not out. And yet, they walked that path so many nights, that eventually even he could anticipate the turns, the gates, and the brick walls.
