If You Read Nothing Else On The Net ---
Without going into details, suffice it to say I had two flat tires on a 40-mile bike trip today. I ended up walking home the last twelve (12) miles in the hot southern California sun.
With two miles left to go, my calf muscles, bilaterally, began to cramp up something terrible. I honestly thought I might not be able to make the last couple of miles. I knew I had to get my mind off my muscles so I immediately began to think about you. A day never goes by that I am not thinking about you, but I had to specifically concentrate on that walk along the coast to W______ many years ago.
It was a long, long trek, and on the return trip, well after dark you were complaining of a very severe blister on your right little toe. I offered to carry you and (incredibly) you agreed. I carried you back to the car, only to find that the "blister" was a wadded up band-aid that had been placed there to prevent blisters.
Thinking of you and that trek, my cramps resolved and I got home safely.
I remember you that day as beautiful, cute, playful, full of humor, never a discouraging word, never judgmental, trim, and athletic.
I have no regrets but I often think of how it might have been different.
I don't know know if you surf the internet, but I hope beyond hope that you find this, to know how much I "respect" you, for lack of a better word.

Wow, I Still Miss You --
You said it would take eight years ... it's been eleven ... and it's not getting any better.
